Before I sprayed I wiped the panel with 70% rubbing alcohol. The fisheyes/solvent pop didn't show up until an hour or two after the last coat. I sanded down the panel with 220 and some of the craters are fairly deep but non of them go to the primer. Approved customers please Log In or Register for approval.Spraying a single stage metallic is not fun with any paint.Make sure you have enough air pressure,even spray pattern,and you need to make dead even passes to have the proper metallic layout.Nason is a great paint IMO.I would bet money its the same as the higher end or discontinued Dupont products in a different can.I would use a base/clear system for any metallic paint.we were going to use the Nason ful-thane , but our supplier suggested the Imron. I was amazed at how well it sprayed. You can plow that stuff on & it will not run. Im seriously thinking about using it when I do my truck. you can even get it in Flat, Semigloss, or regular gloss.
